I ve been successful using baking soda mild abrasive and a damp sponge on my ceramic stove top theresa. To clean grates and burners on your gas stove apply a non abrasive stove cleaner to a non abrasive sponge. Give the grates and burners a good scrub rinse and repeat if necessary. Clean it every day if you wipe it up each day after you re done cooking it will be a lot quicker like 30 seconds rather than spending 5 minutes doing a big clean up.

If you don t have any ceramic cleaners you can easily lift minor stains with a paste of baking soda and water. Finally use a damp sponge to wipe off any baking soda residue. For more persistent stains or large pieces of residue burnt onto the cooktop try using a scraper and ceramic cleaner to remove them. Clean it right away as soon as your stove is cool wipe it right away with soap and a dish rag.

Then soak a rag in hot soapy water wring it out and lay it over the baking soda. Here are a few tips in keeping the ceramic stove top clean once you ve got it sparkling again. Grates and burners should be free of grease and non tacky to the touch. Also this is the most useable cleaner for ceramic and glass cooktop to easy cleanup.
