Artist statement i am interested in pottery that is joyous. As with natural forms imperfection is not a shortcoming but a source of beauty. I create my surfaces for contemplation. Moods are suggested with warmth fluidity and translucency.

Artist statement i have my own ceramic home based business victoria ceramic art. I was eighteen ever the art kid and clay was one of the last mediums i was interested in. Art and craftsmanship my focus is to express sentiments of beauty and joy through tactile handmade pots. Beautiful objects with meaning that weave into our daily lives through use.

They should be confident and handsome. I have participateв in many art and craft shows in ontario and also wholesale art and craft shows in usa and ontario. When i first started using clay as a creative vehicle i did not realize that i had just stepped into an ancient ecosystem teaming with knowledge dynamism and unfathomable depth. Pottery decorates our living spaces with character and elegance.

Artist statement my work is inspired by the natural world and the human body. It aims to reflect the color depth and perfect imperfection of natural forms. The irregularity of the bark of the tree or of its trunk. When making pottery i search for poised forms that suggest sculpture respect utility and perform well.
